SkyCity Entertainment Group, headquartered in New Zealand, has made an announcement regarding the resignation of Michael Ahearne from his position as chief executive. Ahearne will be stepping down from his role in March 2024 in order to return to Europe and dedicate more time to his family. Ahearne has been serving as CEO of SkyCity since November 2020, having previously held the position of chief operating officer. Ahearne, who brings a wealth of experience, joined SkyCity in December 2017 after a successful tenure of nearly four years at Paddy Power Betfair. During his time at Paddy Power Betfair, Ahearne held various positions, including director of product and innovation.
