A difficult question many players face is whether to slowplay the nuts heads up or show them down for value quickly. Generally speaking, slowplaying can be profitable when your opponent is aggressive and likely to bet multiple streets. However, slowplaying brings the risk of cards improving your opponent. Sometimes the best option is to make standard value bets, target smaller hands in your opponent's range, and close the action quickly. While slowplaying can be effective, I tend to prefer showing down strong hands for their true value, particularly heads up.
