Snooker player Mark King receives five-year ban for match fixing due to match fixing issue : Report

According to the latest News , The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) has suspended professional player Mark King for five years after an independent disciplinary committee found him guilty of match-fixing and providing inside information for betting purposes. The player has been ordered to pay £68,299.50 ($86,216) in costs to the court which has been spent on the case in the matter and from news it is inferred that probe started against him on 13th of February , According to reports , the player has 10 days to appeal in the court against the ban implemented on him , The betting regulation said that that betting-related corruption in sport will not be tolerated and clear actions will be taken against such factors indeed
