Son stole £3,500 from parents to fund gambling addiction

A spiteful son took £3,500 from his parents who were disabled so he could indulge his addiction to gambling. While taking care of his father and stepmother, the offender stole the money over a six-month period.

He wagered the money on roulette, football, and slot machines. The defendant began depleting their joint account, despite their trust that he would use their bank card to pay for their purchases.
