South Carolina sports betting bill sets minimum age at 18

A measure to legalise sports betting has already been presented by a member in South Carolina, marking at least the fourth effort to legalise sports betting in the state before the 2025 legislative session begins next month. Some people think that because sports betting is so successful at producing income in neighbouring North Carolina, things might be different in South Carolina the following year. However, given that North Carolina has twice as many people as its southern neighbour, it might not be fair to compare the two Carolinas' sports betting revenues.
