According to a report in the Korean Herald, the South Korean government has developed a set of guidelines specifically for addressing the legal loophole that permits illicit gambling and pseudo-casino operations at drinking establishments known as hold'em pubs.

According to the regulations that are attached, there are twenty different kinds of games that are classified as casino business. These comprise slot machines and the majority of table games, such as poker, baccarat, bingo, mahjong, roulette, blackjack, dice, or craps.
