Spain Police arrest thieves famous for extravagant casino robberies

A criminal gang has been targeting various gambling establishments in Madrid, Spain. However, their unique mode of transportation is making more of an impression than their thefts. Most thieves would rather use unremarkable vehicles to hide their tracks. However, these crooks were traveling in Uber-style vehicles. The group, which specialized in assaulting gambling halls in various locations throughout the autonomous community of Madrid, was recently taken down by agents of Spain's National Police. Five people were apprehended as a result of the operation for the alleged commission of 12 robberies. The robbers used large knives and tasers to intimidate facility employees and steal the loot. When it was time to leave, they would be picked up by a private, chauffeured vehicle.
