In an effort to improve sports betting integrity, the General Directorate for the Regulation of Gambling in Spain has made it mandatory for all gaming operators that hold licenses for sports betting or horseracing to become members of the Global Betting Market Investigation Service. Preventing and combating fraud and manipulation in the sports betting sector is the goal of this initiative.
