Sweden's National Audit Office has commenced an audit of Spelinspektionen (SGA) with the aim of scrutinizing the effectiveness of the SGA's market oversight. The examination by Riksrevisionen into Spelinspektionen (the Swedish Gambling Authority) will analyze the organization's ability to adapt to the challenges posed by the re-regulation of the Swedish gambling market in 2019.
The findings of this evaluation are scheduled to be unveiled in September 2024. Upon revealing the investigation, Riksrevisionen outlined the responsibilities and objectives of Spelinspektionen. Riksrevisionen will assess the extent to which Spelinspektionen fulfills its duty to supervise the controlled market, which was established to enhance channelization.
