Sportradar records significant downturn in match-fixing within the year of 2024

According to Sportradar, the number of suspicious sporting events that raised suspicions of match-fixing decreased by a "notable" 17% in 2024.

The decline follows "consecutive years" of an increase in suspicious matches in all sports, according to the sports technology company, whose Integrity Services division tracks match-fixing trends.

From a pool of 850,000 fixtures tracked, Sportradar's Integrity in Action 2024 Global Analysis & Trends report identified 1,108 suspicious matches in 70 sports.
