Sports betting ad crackdown key as new law is introduced

New federal legislation that two US lawmakers have introduced is intended to transform the domestic sports betting market.

The Supporting Affordability and Fairness with Every Bet Act would mandate that states that allow sports betting adhere to minimal federal requirements in the areas of artificial intelligence, affordability, and advertising.

It would be against the rules for operators to take more than five credit card deposits in a 24-hour period from a single customer.
