Owner of Ladbrokes and Coral, Entain, will lose roughly £40 million this year as a result of regulatory issues.
It made a profit of £102.9 million in 2022, but after paying £585 million to settle an investigation into suspected bribery at a former Turkish subsidiary and incurring impairment charges mostly related to Australian operations, it lost £842.6 million in 2023 before taxes.
