Spurs "had to perform much better" after a 1–1 draw with Everton, according to manager Cristian Stellini.

After giving up a late equalizer at Everton, interim manager Cristian Stellini believes Tottenham must perform "far better" to maintain control of games.
Harry Kane's penalty gave Tottenham a 1-0 lead 10 minutes after Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure was dismissed.

However, they were unable to secure the victory due to Michael Keane's incredible 90th-minute equalizer, which followed the dismissal of Lucas Moura, a Spurs substitute.
Stellini stated that "we have to improve" the team's personality.
In the wake of Doucoure's dismissal for a collision with England captain Kane, he also stood up for Kane.
As Kane was shoved in the face by Doucoure, Everton supporters screamed "cheat," but Stellini ruled it to be "a clear red card."
