A 22-year-old male is still hospitalized as of Monday following a stabbing incident near Nanaimo's Port Place mall. The wounded individual sought assistance around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at the rear entrance of Casino Nanaimo, where two employees provided initial medical aid and contacted the Nanaimo Police Service. The injured man was subsequently transported to the hospital with injuries characterized as serious but not life-threatening.
