Stalled Las Vegas casino project renews building permits

If a recently submitted extension application for its building permits is any indication, the Dream Las Vegas project may soon emerge from its stupor.

The developers of the casino resort on the southernmost tip of the Strip reportedly owe between $25M and $30M, which caused construction to halt in March. It might resume at the start of 2024, per the fresh paperwork submitted to Clark County.

One of those records, a letter from the developer's attorneys on October 4 justifying the extension, made a commitment that the project's funding problems would be resolved.
