Star Entertainment Group divests funds into The Star Sydney Event Centre

The Star Sydney Event Centre and its assets will be sold by the Star Entertainment Group to Foundation Theatres, a theater operator.

Following the completion of long-term transaction documents and certain customary conditions, the transaction is expected to cost US$37.38 million.

The sale is scheduled to close by February 28, 2025, and this exclusivity fee will be deposited into escrow by the end of the month at the latest.
