States Likely to Approve US Online Sports Betting

Millions of dollars are already made each year through sports betting, and this number is only anticipated to rise. The American Gaming Association estimates that in 2021, sports gambling revenue reached an all-time high of $4.3 billion. Online sports betting in New York began on January 8 and within the first eight days brought in nearly $48 million in net profit and $24.6 million in taxes for the state.
All state legislatures, with the exception of a few, have finished their work for the calendar year 2022.
One of the few states with a functioning legislature is Massachusetts, where efforts to allow sports betting are progressing.

I hope those states that are not supporting provisions 24 are now learning how much are depriving themselves from revenue generation. There is no point making law that ban operations of gambling in their States and their citizens have to go to other neighborhoods to go and play.
