Stefanos Tsitsipas Complains About Loud Fans During Western & Southern Open Match

Stefanos Tsitsipas had trouble with a loud fan during his match at the Western & Southern Open. Number 4 seed Tsitsipas said right before his serve, a person behind him made a buzzing noise. This annoyed Tsitsipas so much that he stopped his serve mid swing. He told the referee "It's a buzz right before I serve. I've never had this happen before." The referee spoke to the fan but they kept making the noise. Tsitsipas then went over and asked the fan to stop himself. The fan apologized and was quiet after that. Tsitsipas won the match in straight sets but seemed upset by what happened. In the past he has also had issues with fans shouting during points. It is not clear if the tennis authority will take action against the noisy fan.
