According to a recent study, laws intended to safeguard athletes from sports betting may have unfavorable effects and push bettors to offshore sportsbooks.

Recently, the International Betting Integrity Association in Belgium commissioned a study to find out how legislators unintentionally influence a market and encourage behavior they intended to restrict through regulations. H2 Gambling Capital, an English data intelligence company, carried out the IBIA investigation with a focus on the world gaming market.
 
Definitely when the countries do not allow their players to make fun based activity in their country based gambling markets in a proper manner then they can definitely choose offshore betting companies and this way there risk of them losing their money to these companies is also present so companies should always be allowed to do their business and the countries should make responsible options of playing for their people with in a country
