Study declares that problem gamblers are twice as likely to lose tenancy

According to the study's findings, rent-related issues are twice as likely to arise for problem gamblers as for high rollers. Half of problem gamblers had to borrow money or use loan sharks, compared to the other half who occasionally had trouble paying their rent.

Furthermore, among those who were impacted, 31% stated that rent arrears were a result of a loved one's problematic gambling.
