Survey reveals 1.6million UK homes have a problem gambler

According to a new report, approximately 1.6 million UK children are growing up in households where an adult is involved in "problem gambling."

Children who have been exposed to gambling are four times more likely to develop gambling problems.

The findings were published in GambleAware's annual Treatment and Support Survey, which examined the use of and reported demand for advice, support, and treatment among those who gamble and those affected by someone else's gambling.

I doubt the report. Some report is as good as exaggeration! . The aim of the report is simply to draw attention and cast gambling in a very bad light. I totally disagree that over 1.6 million UK children are growing up in a household where an adult is involved in gambling addiction. Such survey is causing more damage than solution.
