Survey reveals that rising standards of living in UK leading to more problem gamblers

According to a gambling charity, people are embracing gambling as a means of coping with the crisis in the cost of living, from trying to win money to pay bills to utilizing betting shops as warm banks. Despite the likelihood that this may worsen financial strains, four out of ten problem gamblers, compared to just 7% of UK citizens, believed that gambling will help their financial status in the coming year, according to research, according to the charity GamCare.
