Svenska Spel says regulator's decision to fine them inconsistent with regiulations

Regarding the state-owned operator's £7.4 million fine imposed by the Swedish Gambling Authority, Svenska Spel has responded.

The fine, which addresses purported breaches of duty of care, was revealed last week. Svenska Spel disapproved of the regulator's final review conclusion.

Svenska Spel insisted that it followed the strictest Swedish regulations both prior to and following the investigation's start in 2021, making sure that responsible gaming policies were applied across the board for its whole company.

Well we cannot say that whether be company is right actually or wrong and therefore we have to wait for the result if they have the actions applied on them then they will definitely have to pay the fi fines which will definitely be a strong statement that each and every company that is working in the Swedish industry is under the laws which is definitely a good thing
