Svenska Spel sees increase in gaming revenue for second quarter

Svenska Spel, a state-owned casino operator in Sweden, released its second quarter report, highlighting a $390,000 yearly increase in net gaming revenue for the six-month period ending in June. Net gaming income increased by 6% at Svenska Spel's Sport and Casino division, which the company ascribed to pool games, profitable sports betting, the expansion of online casinos, and an overall gain in client traffic. The Swedish operator's Casino Cosmopol and Vegas business district was one disadvantage.
