Swedish Gambling Authority gains permission of direct customer care plans

Additional authority to directly intervene in cases of "excessive online gambling" has been granted by the Swedish government to the Gambling Inspectorate.

The Inspectorate may impose unique "requirements on the content of license holders’ action plans to counter excessive gambling,” according to a government announcement made yesterday.

According to reports, this measure will help the agency ensure that operators continue to uphold consistent online safeguards, protections, and customer care obligations for customers who gamble.

This is pretty good development for the industry as it will allow the customers to be protected at all the levsls and they will not be able to do excess gambling which is a great thing actually indeed being honest .
