Swedish Gambling Authority issues fine to Mr Green and Spooniker casino operators

Spooniker and Mr. Green have been warned by the Swedish Gambling Authority, which has also ordered them to pay fines of $2.74 million and $1million, respectively. The authority made the decision regarding Spooniker after determining that the Kindred Group subsidiary had offered several unapproved bonuses and unapproved lotteries that were not covered by its licence. This lawsuit has been ongoing for a while; in March 2020, the authority made the initial ruling, setting the sanction cost at $7million, which Spooniker disputed.
