The latest financial report from the Swedish gambling authority discloses that licensed gambling operators garnered a revenue of $686.5 million in the final quarter of 2023.
As per the report, this signifies a 5.9% uptick from the preceding quarter, although it marks a 1.3% downturn compared to the corresponding period in 2022. Notably, the last quarter of 2023 emerged as the most lucrative quarter of the year in terms of revenue.
Additionally, the report unveils that approximately 104,000 individuals had voluntarily excluded themselves from gambling through the national self-exclusion program by this period.
