Swedish Gambling Authority survey reveals that 71% of Swedes gambled for money last year

The results of a survey on Swedes' gambling habits that was carried out late last year have been released by Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Authority.

The research firm provided assistance for this annual survey, which is called the Public Opinion Survey.

The survey, conducted in November 2024, had just over 1,600 respondents. According to the research, 33% of Swedes play weekly, and 71% of them have wagered for cash in the previous 12 months.
