The Administrative Court's annulment of an injunction against Zimpler AB has been challenged by the Swedish gambling regulator.
The payment provider was subject to a fine of up to €2.2 million by the regulator in July 2023, if it disobeyed an order to stop cooperating with unlicensed gambling operators. Zimpler reports that it has gradually stopped working with unlicensed operators, but last month, its appeal against the injunction was upheld.
