Swedish gambling regulator funded by government in bid to minimize illegal gambling

A £850,309 budget increase has been granted to the Swedish Gambling Authority in order to improve market supervision and bolster efforts to combat illicit activities. The gambling regulator has also been tasked by the Swedish government with creating a formula for determining the channelization rate in the Swedish market. By October 1st of the following year, at the latest, the government wants the agency to submit a report on the size of the black market.
