TAB locations suffer VGCCC repercussions for minor gaming violations.

Tabcorp and a group of eight establishments find themselves in hot water as they face charges brought by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) for the purported act of permitting underage individuals to engage in gambling activities. Tabcorp, in particular, is confronted with a substantial sum of 54 charges from the VGCCC, comprising 27 accusations of enabling minors to partake in gambling and neglecting their responsibility to adequately oversee their electronic betting terminals. This egregious violation of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 has prompted legal action against both Tabcorp and the aforementioned venues, signifying the seriousness with which the authorities regard this issue.
