Tackling problem gambling in NSW

The NSW government is looking to limit slot machines and introduce stricter regulation including cashless payments and working hours readtrictions. A buyback of 2,000 machines is planned over the next five years as well as daily loss limits and involving family members to help problem gamblers. Concerns exists over the number of machines accessibilty to the lowesr income households and riising problem gambling cases. Changes are planned to tackle these issues.
