Teenager arrested for stealing over $80,000 worth of lottery tickets

Following allegations by Ontario police that he stole thousands of dollars' worth of lottery tickets, a 17-year-old from Magnetawan is being charged with theft exceeding $5,000.

At a Magnetawan business, lottery tickets were stolen, and police were called. Over a few months, it was discovered that tickets totaling approximately $84,000 had been stolen from the company with assistance from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

June is the accused's scheduled court appearance; he was released.
