Teens' Addiction to Online Betting and Gambling Increases

The rate at which this activity is growing is a cause for concern among parents, therapists, politicians, and local helpline workers who have observed a rise in the number of young gamblers seeking assistance with their issues. Additionally, certain states, such as Connecticut, Michigan, and New Jersey, have also legalized online casino gambling. It is unfortunate that there is an upward trend in youth gambling, as research indicates that children who start placing bets by the age of 12, regardless of the seemingly innocent nature of the wager, are four times more likely to develop a gambling problem in the future.
