With the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council imposing a number of fines, Fanatics Sportsbook and ZenSports are operating with less cash on hand.
The fantasy sports and sports betting authority unanimously decided to fine Fanatics $50,000 for breaking the self-exclusion list regulations set forth in Tennessee gaming laws. Eight registered account holders on a self-exclusion list were permitted to place bets with the sportsbook by Fanatics, which self-reported its infractions. Enthralled parties ascribed the mistake to its acquisition of PointsBet's American operations. For every infraction, the operator was fined $6,250.
