Texas Lottery implements rule change after loophole exploited for $95million jackpot win

Vendors who abruptly wish to increase the number of ticket processing machines they supply to the Texas Lottery will have to go through more scrutiny when making unusual requests. That came after a syndicate from New Jersey won a whopping $95 million after purchasing 25.8 million tickets from pop-up vendors.

The executive director of the Texas Lottery will now receive requests from vendors for large amounts of processing equipment so that they can look into them further. This is especially the case if the vendors have never before sold a lot of tickets.
