TexBet fined $22,791 for betting failures

For violations of the Betting and Racing Act of 1998, TexBet was fined US$22,791.

The actual offense is reported to have happened in May 2022. The customer allegedly complained that they were receiving advertisements for gambling and that they had placed 75 new bets, which TexBet accepted, despite having revoked their consent to receive ads and asked for their account to be closed. Liquor & Gaming NSW looked into the claim.
