Thai PM views legalizing casinos as beneficial to jobs and money, with an emphasis on entertainment projects

Thailand's Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin, thinks making casinos legal could bring in more money and jobs.

Right now, only horse races and the lottery are allowed for gambling. But, illegal gambling is common. The government is studying the idea of legalizing casinos to boost investment and tourism.

They hope it will attract tourists and compete with places like Macau.
