A law enforcement officer in Thailand was moving from village to village attempting to sell cows. Except, he wasn’t a police officer and he wasn’t selling cows. He persuaded people to purchase his cattle, then used the proceeds to gamble in Cambodia without ever supplying the products to the customers. The scam was mostly massively effective, as the 58-year-old fraudster, Wuttisak Phittakchan-im, was good enough to pull it off again and again across the central region of the country. His fall from grace came after picking the wrong village to aim.
