Thailand police arrest 126 people betting on Euro 2024 so far

According to the Royal Thai Police, 126 persons were taken into custody on Friday and Saturday for placing bets on the 2024 UEFA European Football Championships.

Of the 126, 117 were apprehended for engaging in illicit betting, and six were detained for helping to facilitate wagering on the games. The others gave out tickets to gamblers.

He stated that the majority of those detained were discovered placing bets on the outcomes while watching the matches at bars and other locations that aired the matches live.
