What are some tips for playing Caribbean Stud Poker to consistently gain an edge over the casinos? In my experience, the key things to focus on are having a solid pre-flop strategy, identifying good setups post flop, and betting aggressively when you hit those setups. Being selective with which hands you play pre flop and folding poor double-card hands can save you a lot of money in the long run. Post flop, I look for hands that contain a flush or straight draw along with pairing or high card potential. When I hit these types of strong made or drawing hands, I will generally make the maximum allowable raise to build a sizable pot. I would love to hear from other experienced Caribbean Stud Poker players about any additional strategies they have found success with.
