Have you ever wondered why you find yourself grinding away hour after hour at those poker tables, chasing that big score that always seems just out of reach? Poker can become so easily addictive as the prospect of hitting that big pot draws you back time and time again. The buzz of a big win keeps you coming back for more, even though deep down you know the odds are stacked against you. You tell yourself "this next one will put me over $10k for sure!" but in reality, the casino has the mathematical edge and the house always wins in the end. Still, the allure of that big score and those feel-good dopamine hits keep drawing us back to the virtual tables, wasting hours of our lives that we'll never get back again. What do you think- am I the only one who finds poker too hard to quit, even when the rational part of my brain knows I should walk away?
