The Cordish Companies receive approval on $250million Louisiana casino project

The Louisiana Gaming Control Board has unanimously approved The Cordish Companies' application to operate casinos in Louisiana.

With the help of this regulatory clearance, Cordish can now finalize the purchase of Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel and start converting the land into a casino resort and entertainment center operating under the Live! brand.

With an opening date of 2025, the redevelopment project will build this market's first land-based casino.

As per the news, the Cordish Companies have received approval for their $250 million casino project in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Louisiana Gaming Control Board granted a license to the company's subsidiary, PCC Pursuit, to operate a casino under the name Live! Casino Baton Rouge.
