Some casinos provide a version of the European Roulette game known as the En Prison rule. In even-money wagers like red or black, odd or even, or high or low numbers, the rule is frequently applied.
If the ball hits on the zero slot while the En Prison rule is in force, the player has the choice to either withdraw half of their wager or leave it on the table for the following spin. The wager is considered to be "in prison" for the following spin if the player elects to leave it on the table.
The player's initial wager is repaid in full if the ball lands on their preferred color or number on the subsequent spin.
