The father of a Man Utd target says his kid is "likely" to play for another team in July.

The father of Alexis MacAllister has acknowledged that Liverpool and Manchester United have expressed interest in signing his son this summer.

World Cup winner Mac Allister is gaining interest from a number of big Premier League clubs due to his outstanding performance this season.

The 24-year-old will depart Brighton at the end of the current campaign, according to transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano, who said on Thursday. It's unknown how much Albion will demand this summer, but one recent rumor claimed Mac Allister is valued at €150 million (£132 million).

After reading Romano's report and the most recent statements made by the player's father, it seems that the writing is on the wall.

Carlos Allister, Mac Allister's father, acknowledged to Puroboca that leave talks are now in progress.
