What constitutes the fine line between poker confidence and arrogance at the table? Confidence is essential to succeed as a poker player, however, too much ego can be off-putting and counterproductive. Being able to read opponents and make calculated risks requires a certain swagger, but excessive boasting, dismissive remarks, and condescension towards other players likely stem from insecurity rather than skill.
