The Georgia House is unable to come to a compromise on legislation pertaining to online sports betting.

Disagreements over tax distribution led to the failure of Georgia's sports betting bill in gaining approval. The state's House of Representatives didn't vote on the legislation due to the impasse.

Although the Senate passed the bill, the session ended without House approval for the fourth consecutive time. The proposed bill aimed to legalize online sports betting and tax it at 25%.
 
This is a matter in which both the parties need to come at a single page and conclusion and their for it can take time for the both parties to agree on a single point in the deal 25% is definitely a huge amount of tax that will affect the stakeholders and the investors of the industry as well so that is why it will not be easy for the authorities to make sure that this will is passed in a soon amount of time
