The Griffin Ultimate Count is a card counting system developed by the Griffin Agency in the 1970s. It is based on the Hi-Lo system and is used to track the ratio of high cards to low cards, in order to determine the player's advantage against the dealer. This system assigns a numerical value to each card, with the high cards (10, J, Q, K, A) having a numerical value of -2 and the low cards (2-6) having a numerical value of +1. As the cards are dealt, the player adds up the numerical values of each card and keeps a running count. When the count is positive, it indicates that there are more high cards left in the deck, which is advantageous to the player. When the count is negative, it indicates that there are more low cards left in the deck, which is advantageous to the dealer. The player can then adjust their betting strategies accordingly.
