Do random reel modifiers like stacked wilds, bonus wilds, and expanding wilds really improve the payouts on slot machines? I think those features don't significantly change the machine's programmed payback percentage over the long run. The random nature of these modifiers means some players will win big during short sessions while others come out behind, but overall the casino's edge remains. These features add excitement while we play, but I don't count on them actually improving my overall profits. What has been your experience? Have random reel modifiers made slot machines more fun or lucrative for you?
