The Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana project has begun construction.

Construction has started on a $270m gaming, hotel, dining, and entertainment site by The Cordish Companies in Bossier City, replacing the former Diamond Jacks Casino.

The Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, the first land-based casino in Shreveport-Bossier, is expected to generate $35m in gaming tax for Bossier and over $168m for the state in the first five years.
